When I carefully heat up a glass rod using a flame at about 1100°C and it becomes burning hot like lava and viscous like honey I am gripped by a great fervour. My glass beads are formed in fire with much attention to detail. Delicate embellishment with fine colourful glass threads is made by either embedding them within the beads or melting them onto the surface. I use diverse techniques and I am happy to learn new aspects of the craft and to perfect my work.
I only use high quality glass and other materials in my work. All glass beads are tempered by especially slow and careful cooling, so that a special longlasting life is ensured.
