My range of wooden figurines includes both a line of farm and forest animals, fairy tale and nativity figurines, toys for babies and toddlers; and a line of utensils and decorative objects. I use a circular saw to cut up to 25 different types of wood from regional, sustainable forestry into boards. Then I grind each cut-out part to shape the figure. This requires a good deal of woodworking skill and patience. Finally, I paint the figures with vegetable-based paints. Now everything is ready for the last operation: finishing the surface treatment with linseed or hard oil. After drying for several days, the figures are ready for sale.
