Under my own label a][m (artdesign][metz) I design and produce textile accessories, headwear, jackets, ponchos and jewelry since 2010.
My education focused on fashion and clothing technology at the fashion school Herbstrasse/Vienna, where I learned the craft professionally. Since 2010 I am an independent entrepreneur and artist.
The self-produced garments are "timeless and functional", the lines simple and the models versatile wearable. I like to use traditional fabrics, such as whale (milled woolen fabrics made of virgin or merino wool) from which I make the now very popular "beanies" (hoods with snaps) or warm hip skirts with colorful applications. The matching jewelry, such as brooches, rings and necklaces are lovingly created by hand after cutting from "production waste". Every cm of the valuable wool fabric are thus used and thus sustainability is guaranteed.
